Prysmian & Berk-Tek: extended distance 40Gb/s transmission

Prysmian Group is partnering with Nexans company Berk-Tek to demonstrate 300m 40Gbps transmission utilizing WideBand MMF, WideCap-OM4, and commercial WDM transceivers. “WideCap-OM4 is future-ready and offers the greatest flexibility for data centre networks”, says Adrian Amezcua, MMF Product Line Manager with Prysmian Group.
