We’re delighted to present you with this year’s sixth issue of NExsT magazine, Prysmian’s publication on the worlds of broadband and telecom.

 

In the run-up to the Fiber Connect Council MENA Conference, taking place in Riyadh on November 12-14, this edition looks at a number of key challenges for FTTx expansion in MENA with Kholoud Al-Dorgham, Director General, Fiber Connect Council. We also take a closer look at the EU Gigabit Infrastructure Act (GIA), which aims to ensure every European citizen, regardless of location, can access and benefit from digital services.

 

Further topics include the new FTTH Council Europe research into the Role of IT in accelerating FTTH Deployments and Operations, and UNICEF-ITU research into the lack of home internet access amongst  school-age children worldwide.
