We’re proud to present you with this year’s fourth edition of NExsT magazine, Prysmian’s publication on the worlds of broadband and telecom.

 

Together with Gary Bolton, President and CEO, and Marissa Metrovitch, Vice-President of public policy, Fiber Broadband Association (FBA), we examine several topics discussed at the recent NExsT Telecoms Forum in Washington D.C. We also take a closer look at developments around ECOSLIM, Prysmian Group’s innovative fibre-optic cable in duct solution which enables significant reductions in raw materials usage and CAPEX.

 

Further topics include a terrestrial fibre optic cable network designed to connect Africa’s eastern and western shores and recent academic research into a new type of photonic time crystal that can amplify light and may lead to significantly improved lasers and more efficient and robust wireless communications.
